1/11. Report and Advisory Work :
Receiving an initial statement of requirements, outlining possible courses of action
and advising on the need for other consultants. Determining the brief in sufficient
detail for the following stages to begin.
2/11. Feasibility Studies:
Undertake a preliminary technical appraisal of a project sufficient to enable the
client to decide whether and in what form to proceed. Such an appraisal may
include an approximation of the cost of the project, and outline timetable and a
suggested contract procedure.
3/11. Outline Proposals:
Analyzing the client's requirements and where applicable instructing the other
consultants. Pre- paring, describing and illustrating outline proposals, including an
approximation of cost. In- forming the client of any major decisions which are
needed and receiving any amended instructions.
4/11. Scheme Design:
Preparing in collaboration with the other consultants, if appropriate, a scheme
design consisting of drawings and outline specifications, sufficient to indicate spatial
arrangements, technical fa- cilities, equipment etc. Presenting a report on the scheme, the estimated cost and timetables for the project, for the client's approval.
5/11. Detail Design and Production Information:
Completing a detailed design and specification, incorporating any design work done
by other consultants, nominated subcontractors and/or suppliers. Obtaining
estimates from nominated sub-contractors and/or suppliers. Preparing information
necessary for the bills of quantities, if any, by the quantity surveyor and drafting of production drawings .
6/11. Tender Action to Completion:
Obtaining and preparing an analysis of tenders. Advising on the contract and the appointment of contractors. Supplying information to the contractors, arranging for them to take possession of the site and examining their programs. Making visits to the site, issuing certificates and other administrative duties under the contract.
7/11. Final Report:
Where the client requires this, a final project report can be produced immediately after hand- over and/or after an agreed period of time. The purpose of this is to provide a collation of all aspects of the work of the consultants/suppliers/contractors from which the client can draw in- formation throughout the life of the completed project.
8/11. On-Going Management & Consultancy:

9/11. Acceptance :
Hand-over accepting the completed works, or parts of the works, as called for in the consultancy contract, representing the client in this range of activities.
10/11. Program Development:
If the client requires, program development can be produced on an ongoing basis.
11/11. Presentation & Branding:
Complete branding of the channel is a must for modern TV's. A modern, appropriate and effective branding package will be developed, including on-air and online graphic design. Program branding must be kept to the look of the channel and not the look of the director's dis- cretion.
